Jeanette Laird
Executive Director
Mrs. Jeanette Laird is wife and co-founder of Sanctuary Christian Ministries with Dr. Charles Laird. In many ways she is the life blood in Sanctuary functioning; co-leading and starting PALZ, Mesami, Living to Love groups, Hub and Sanctuary Sundays. She brings 14 years of varied ministry experience and skills as an active pastor’s wife…teaching, developing programs, dynamic small groups, and people are constantly drawn to her ministry care. She brings drive, organization, follow through and sanctuary to the organization as she leads. If something needs doing – she makes sure it happens.

Robert A. Laird
Director of Operations,
Director of Student Ministries and Mesami leader
Robert Laird's motivational and administrative skills produce results. He has a long record of teen ministry development, extremely versatile musical talent, and administrative aptitude –taking things from idea stage to accomplishment. He founded DAPS Magic, a website business reaching 2,000 members in a year and half; conceptualized and instrumental in planning and bringing Connect into being; co-birthed Impact – a middle school monthly outreach program reaching 150 kids under a team of 12 leaders; lead music programs; birthed Mesami, Pure Gold Band and Home School High. He doesn’t shirk from digging into projects, doing what needs to be done, or motivating people to do something great for God. He believes being a team player is an important part of leading.

Brian Laird
PALz leader and technical support
Brian Laird versatility includes co-founded PALz middle school ministry; co-founder, CFO and computer tech for Wedding Ministers - a leading national directory; co-built Connect – a conversation site on line; worship leader; videographer, video editing, and puppetry. He has a vision for Splash, a future prayer ministry. Brian brings an incredible of patience, creativity, and care in working with people. He is meticulous for details, yet embodies Sanctuary with his the warmest acceptance with anyone he works or comes in contact with.

Roger Lucic
Treasurer
Mr. Roger Lucic has been invaluable in helping Sanctuary get set up properly with his business sense and knowledge of government dealings for religious non-profits. His career had him spending 32 years testing missiles at the Pacific Missile Test Center. But since retirement he is employed by Community Presbyterian Church, Ventura, CA for technical operations and maintenance; has been trained in Braille Transcription and Tactile graphic development. He has years of doing financial business for the Presbyterian church, as well as very active in lay leadership on session and in other ministry groups.

Envisioned staffing in the future: |

Sanctuary Christian Ministries envisions a network of volunteer PALs - as a Sanctuary presence - in every community in the United States and Canada. This will require Regional Directors, trained in ministry skills, the structure, and theology of Sanctuary. These directors will mentor, check in on, and plan quarterly regional events for the local home groups.
Sanctuary trainers for doing church certification and starting PAL groups will need to be added as the ministry network expands. These trainers will be responsible for following up and checking on churches that are seeking or have attained Sanctuary status. Church retreats and staff development will be involved.
The treasurer position is presently a volunteer position, but as the organization and work load increases, we see that as a paid staff position.
Bringing on a video production person has been seriously thought about, since all the technical equipment for quality productions is sitting waiting to be used. They are envisioned as part time, while being allowed to use the equipment to produce wedding or other videos to: 1) get them out in the public for ministry relationships to develop, as caring vendors to add to First Choice Weddings, and 2) would provide them another part time job for income. |
